Ten clubs will be participating at Gaelic Défi #2 on the 13th of June. Below you can discover a bit of background of our visitors notable from Fingallians Swords, St. Mary’s Rasharkin and Jersey Irish.
The club of Liffré GAA will be hosting its second annual international youth Gaelic football tournament “Gaelic Défi” (which means “Gaelic Challenge”) on the 13th of June at the pitches located at the Center Campus of Liffré. There will be no less than 200 children comprising 20 teams and representing 10 clubs from three different countries!
The Wild Boars of Liffré defeated their rivals from Rennes in the Brittany Cup final with a score of (6-9) 27 – 22 (3-13). In doing, Liffré take hold of their second title of the season (Championship winners and Cup winners) and have now completed this feat for the third time in their history after pulling off the double in 2012 and 2013.
